Well, it is Dan's bed too. We were excited to get our first "grown up" bed, a pretty big purchase as we anticipate this is the bed we will sleep in for many, many years to come. Both Dan and I realized that it really was the first bed frame we had picked out and purchased in our entire adult lives, and it is gorgeous! It is a very dark wood with both a headboard and footboard, from Thomasville. It is a pretty big bed, but lucky for us we have a very big master bedroom so it works. Now, we can either: 1) never move or 2) only move to another house big enough to accommodate it. Anyhow... we took pictures, because that is what we do (and when I say "we", I mean, Dan). And now, our bedroom is complete. HA... right, who am I kidding.... I am never done decorating. It is a lifelong project for me. Sorry Dan.

Oh my goodness, it is soooo gorgeous!! I can't wait for the day that I get my "adult" bed! I have been waiting and waiting ever so patiently for like 10 years or so! I was so close, and then my husband decided he wanted a boat instead! I guess the boat trumped the bed! :( Maybe next year?!!
